Description
The stone monogram is about 4 foot square and set into a brick plinth. Two plaques are set into the side of the plinth facing the road. The Monogram is floodlit at night.

 
Further Information
 
The two monograms had been stored in the Round Tower on Broad Street for many years. The developers of King James Quay were asked to display them both, but upon examination one was found to be in such poor condition it was not in fact raised. The date on the monogram tells us it refers to King James II.
