Further Information
ERA Phillips was the son of Michael and Caroline Phillips (married September 17 1859) and was baptised on 23rd January 1870 at St Mary's Church, Portsea. At the 1881 census the family which also included daughters Alice (18) and Lucinetta (17) were living at 40 Fratton Road. Michael Phillips was described as being from Devonport and worked as a Carpenter for the Royal Navy.
