The stone tablet is in very poor condition and is unlikely to survive much longer. The inscription is largely illegible.

Further Information
We are able to identify the name on this memorial because it is still possible to read the names of Edward and Emily Pulling, the parents of the deceased, who are also named on an adjacent plaque. The date of death is legible enough to tally with the date of death of Lieut O.L. Pulling as recorded by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. That site also records the place of burial as the Loos Cemetery and the Regiment Lt. Pulling was serving in as the Royal Garrison Artillery (10th T.M. Bty).
Postscript
In 2007 a photograph taken between 1915 and 1947 of the plaque above Pulling's (Brigadier General Kelly) was located at the National Army Museum and this included the top two lines of the plaque above. From this the full name was ascertained.
